A THOUGHT
inspired by Dimitris Alithinos’, Event
The artwork describes how I felt before I went on leave for a few days break over Christmas. Sitting in my chair, day after day, seeing very few children and families (my clients actually), missing the informal support and interaction with colleagues, feeling that my hands are tied and falling over with deeply held exhaustion. This last year has been really tough and I felt that if I fell over, I would just stay on the floor like this person.
UNTITLED
inspired by Sophia Kosmaoglou’s, La Source
I stand and stare.
The water trickles down.
Do I see myself or the constant flow?
A flow that changes and endures as it passes over me.
A flow that changes and diminishes me as it passes over.
A flow that is a moment and yet feels like an always.
