The ΕΜΣΤPLAY Museum Kits, in addition, offer an innovative way for the Museum to expand its reach and fulfill its mission by engaging a broader audience or those not able to visit in person. These 15 specially designed suitcases – 15 in Greek and 3 in English – are available for short-term loans and can be transported to various locations. They are intended for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including those who, for various reasons, are unable to visit the ΕΜΣΤ in person. The kits are designed for:
- All educational levels
- Senior citizens’ clubs, nursing homes, and day centres
- Regional institutions such as museums, cultural centres, libraries, and festivals
- Companies and organisations to encourage staff empowerment and foster creative thinking in the workplace
The ΕΜΣΤPLAY Museum Kits serve as interactive tools for experimenting with and exploring the language of Contemporary Art. Each kit contains information about the Museum, basic tools for understanding the language of contemporary art, and a selection of works from the ΕΜΣΤ Collection. Additionally, the kits feature a series of engaging activities designed to foster an experiential understanding of the artworks and the creative process behind contemporary art. The goal is to promote both learning and mental well-being.
