The work deals with how complicated and strange the first sexual intercourse for two young people could be. The image also depicts the union of a man and a woman.

The difference of a woman living in war with survival as her sole pursuit, obviously neglecting herself, forgetting that she is a woman. While in another country a woman may only be concerned with herself, which explains the lipstick with the bullet and the flags.
