SUMMER CAMPS @ΕΜΣΤ

Summer Workshop for Kids and Teens

This summer EMΣT is organizing its first-ever youth workshops, inviting young visitors to experience the museum as a vibrant space of imagination and creative connections. Inspired by our current exhibitions, An Ode to Things. Niki Kanagini. Retrospective and Jani Christou: Enantiodromia, the workshops turn art into a playground for experimentation and self-expression, offering a truly joyful creative experience.

For Teens aged 12–15

Sounds, Silence and Meta-Music: Inhabiting ΕΜΣΤ’s Jani Christou: Enantiodromia

Inspired by Jani Christou’s singular vision, the workshop is designed for teens who love sound, movement, observation, and experimentation. The programme offers a unique artistic experience that bridges music and contemporary art.

Teens will create graphic scores, construct tape loops from recycled magnetic tapes, record sounds from the museum and its surroundings, and explore the physicality of music. The workshop culminates in a collective meta-musical performance inside the museum itself.
