“Fantasy is mythomaniac
Voice is produced from the air of the soul
The trace is a music score…”
Georgios Xenos
Starting on August 1st and lasting until October 12th, painter Georgios Xenos presents the work Progression, Number 163 as an audiovisual installation around the peristyle of the National Museum of Contemporary Art.
Georgios Xenos reads his sketches and paintings as music scores and creates sounds and music with clarinet, effects loop, percussion and string instruments. A scanned ink drawing as a video projection combined with the musical theme Progression, Number 163 from the series Passers creates an atmospheric environment around the entrance of EMST for the visitors and passers by.
