The cycle of seasons, as most natural phenomena, has fascinated humankind throughout the ages and has left an indelible imprint on multiple art foms. The Quitarci string quintet presents three works inspired by the Four Seasons; one from the 18th century, another from the 19th century and one from the 20th century. Vivaldi recalls the seasons in a naturalistic manner, David contemplates them through a romantic prism, while Piazzola links them sensually with the urban context of Buenos Aires.
