The Οnassis Cultural Centre Athens in collaboration with the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens (EMST) and the State Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki and together with education curators and musicians / composers realize the program for professional high schools titled “Discovering the art of sound and image”, from February until May 2018. Following 2 meetings that were held at EMST where students discussed with the education curators about an artwork of the exhibition Theorimata, 7 more will be realized in their schools aiming at the composition of a piece of contemporary music based on the work they worked on at EMST. The program is part of the international Interfaces Network project, coordinated by the Onassis Foundation aiming to bring new music to an extensive range of new audiences.
