In the workshop This Is Not an Apple and Other Redefining Gender Exercises, participants will be invited to observe artworks from the WOMEN, together collection exhibition through the lens of gender as a key mechanism through which power not only constrains but constitutes individuals, while trying to deconstruct gender inequalities.
Using performance scores, that mainly engage the body and voice as mediums, participants will explore the artworks on the third floor of the museum and record their experiences in a Fanzine.
PARTICIPATION
The workshop takes place on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
It is aimed at females aged 17 and older.
Participation in the workshop is free.

BIOGRAPHY
Vicki Christaki (she/hers) is a Learning Curator.
She studied Digital Audiovisual Arts at the University of the Aegean, at the Rietveld Academy of Fine Arts. She later continued her education by earning a Master’s degree in Critical Pedagogy at the University of Crete. Since 2015, she has collaborated with a plethora of museums and art organizations in Greece and abroad. Building on her studies and experience in dance and performing arts, she has developed a way of designing museum workshops that helps visitors connect profoundly with the artworks, the space, the group, and themselves.
