EMΣT hosts the 3rd cycle of an art-based research art psychotherapy workshop, titled “The image”, which is addressed to professional art psychotherapists.
In the 1st cycle the clinical practice of response art of art psychotherapy was investigated in relation to the artistic practice of the archive.
In the 2nd cycle, ways of recording critical and experiential reflection were investigated through performative writing and autoethnography.
In the 3rd cycle we will try to make practical use of the experience gained from the previous workshops. The center of gravity shifts to response art as an artwork with material substance.
The workshop is designed and implemented by Maria Konti (Artist and Art Psychotherapist) in collaboration with contemporary Greek artists and art theorists who will work together with the group of art psychotherapists.
