The National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens (EM) is organising a retrospective exhibition of the distinguished ceramic artist Panos Valsamakis (1900–1986) and invites owners of his works to contact the Museum, in order to achieve the most comprehensive possible documentation and study of his oeuvre, as well as to consider the inclusion of selected works in the exhibition.
The open call concerns both independent ceramic works with at least one dimension equal to or exceeding one (1) meter, as well as ceramic works integrated into buildings in Athens, such as doors, façades, or other architectural elements (works created until 1985)
Collectors, institutions, and private individuals who are interested are kindly requested to contact EMΣT and submit basic information about the work (dimensions, date, photograph, and contact details) until 20.02.
