At the end of November 2018 a collaboration started with the Multifunctional Center of Hellenic Red Cross. In the framework of this collaboration a learning program was designed and implemented for refugee children aged 8-13, which was completed in a series of seven two-hour meetings.
During the program the children watched and discussed Zainab’s and Mahdi’s stories which are presented in the EMST interactive program Face Forward …into my home (www.faceforward.gr). After that, they wrote a short script based on Zainab’s story (https://www.faceforward.gr/en/faces-stories/zainab/).
In the end, they created and constructed sets and characters that were used for the production of a short animated film, using the technic of stop motion.
