The Education Department of EMΣT, in collaboration with the Department of Programming and Education of the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Development of EOPAE, organized and implemented a seminar for members of the Organization. The aim of the seminar was to strengthen the participants’ skills and to enhance access to art for EOPAE beneficiaries.
As part of the seminar, a hands-on stop motion animation workshop was conducted, with the participation of twenty staff members from EOPAE’s prevention, treatment, and education programmes. Over four two-hour sessions held at the Museum, participants became familiar with the process of developing a script inspired by personal experiences and memories. They then learned how to translate their script into a short animation film, using a variety of artistic materials, a photographic camera, and digital applications.
The seminar was designed by Marina Tsekou, Education Curator, and Dimitris Kannas, Visual Artist.
