Art historians, curators, and theorists will engage in an open dialogue regarding the impact of the “Greek Month” on contemporary artistic, institutional, archival, and curatorial practices. Moderated by Theophilos Tramboulis—who also collaborated with Christos Joachimides on the Outlook exhibition publication in 2004—a younger generation of curators will examine the conditions under which the “Greek Month” exhibitions were realised and received, as well as their enduring significance and reach. The discussion will seek to connect the “Greek Month” with its influence on current practices, offering an opportunity for both a historical assessment and a critical evaluation of the present.
