The artist will discuss his most recent projects from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of his visit to Greece, Alfredo Jaar\u2014one of the most significant and influential figures on the global contemporary art scene\u2014will give a special talk at \u0395\u039c\u03a3\u03a4. He will present recent works and projects realised in different parts of the world, offering an overview of his multifaceted artistic practice and international career.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Santiago in 1956 and trained in architecture and filmmaking, Jaar is an artist, architect, photographer, and filmmaker known for his political approach to conceptual art and his engagement with issues of human rights, genocide, poverty, and social injustice.
