The Helsinki Case.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Helsinki Biennial, a newcomer on the European contemporary art events map, is heading towards its third iteration. In the summer of 2025, the biennial once again showcases outstanding contemporary on the main stages of the Biennial, Vallisaari island and the HAM Helsinki Art Museum, and on locations around Helsinki. The third edition of the Helsinki Biennale, curated by <strong>Blanca de la Torre<\/strong> and <strong>Kati Kivinen<\/strong>, will present about 35 contemporary artists from both Finland and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>In her talk, Helsinki Biennial 2025 Co-Curator Kati Kivinen, will examine the Helsinki Biennial\u2019s ambitions in relation to ecological and social responsibility in curatorial work, production and everything built around it.<\/p>\n<p>The talk is realized in the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emst.gr\/en\/events-en\/international-curators-visiting-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u0395\u039c\u03a3\u03a4 International Curators Visiting Programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Art on an Island \/ Island as a Shelter: Towards \u0391 More Sustainable \u0392iennial Curating and Production.
