The window \u0399 rushed to open<\/p>\n

Revealed eyes I did not want to see<\/p>\n

Eyes that have known the pain and the end<\/p>\n

Eyes that yelled I desire nothing and I am not alive.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u03a4here was no shutter to close<\/p>\n

And the eyelids on the children\u2019s eyes<\/p>\n

Never let the dreams come in<\/p>\n

Never hid the sun not to get burnt.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How do I send them my dreams<\/p>\n

How do I show them the streets I\u2019ve seen<\/p>\n

How do I yell so that they can hear me<\/p>\n

When the distance is so long.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A window separates our lives<\/p>\n

Our joys are a smile away<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the glance they never threw on earth<\/p>\n

When courage and sorrow had a price.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Eyes I cannot see<\/p>\n

Wide open and glum<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s eyes that have already set<\/p>\n

Before they had a chance to live like children.<\/p>\n
