A two-year cultural project has started its journey in Europe in October 2020, under the title \u201cIMPROVISA \u2013 Life in Motion<\/strong>\u201d. Its aim is to increase access to culture and heritage for the younger audiences and communities who have a difficulty in accessing museums, such as immigrants or people living in remote areas. Through the exploration and development of improvisation models and interaction tools, using digital and mobile technologies, new proposals for innovative and participative art-based activities will emerge, enabling the (re)interpretation of culture and the enhancement of intercultural dialogue.<\/p>\n

Among its goals are: (a) the promotion of cross-border and intersectoral mobility and exchange of knowledge between artists, museum professionals, ICT specialists and experts in audience development, (b) the development of new skills for artists and personnel \u03bff the collaborating organizations, (c) the dissemination of the methodology and the use of the IMPROVISA Mobile App in the educational community.<\/p>\n

During the IMPROVISA project the following will be realized: an artists\u2019 call succeeded by Artists\u2019 \u00a0<\/em>Residencies that\u00a0 will be held in three cities (<\/em>Athens, Ljubljana, Lublin); a creative Co-Lab for the development of art-based activities; the implementation of these activities in 72 workshops in the three participating museums; the development of the IMPROVISA Mobile App and a Digital Toolkit for teachers and students so that they can use the App on their own and explore new ways of interacting with art.<\/p>\n
