“IMPROVISA – Life in Motion” is a two-year cultural project. Its aim is to increase access to culture and heritage for the younger audiences and communities who have a difficulty in accessing museums. Through the exploration and development of improvisation models and interaction tools, using digital and mobile technologies, new proposals for innovative and participative art-based activities will emerge, enabling the (re)interpretation of culture and the enhancement of intercultural dialogue.
The project is a result of the collaboration of five European organizations: My Documenta in Barcelona (Spain) as the program co-ordinator, ECCOM in Rome (Italy), National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) in Athens (Greece), Galeria Labirynt in Lublin (Poland) and National Museum of Contemporary History (ΜNZS) in Ljubljana (Slovenia). It is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, for the years 2021 – 2022.
