Artist Scholarship of the city of Mönchengladbach – Germany

Since April 1998, the City of Mönchengladbach supported by the Josef and Hilde Wilberz Foundation, has been sponsoring a studio scholarship, for artists.
The City of Mönchengladbach provides the scholarship holder with a guest studio and accommodation (including Internet and flat rates, electricity and heating) for six months. The artist will receive a monthly cost of living subsidy of 550 euros. At the end of the scholarship, an exhibition will be organized for the scholarship holder for which a catalogue will be published.
An internationally recognized group of curators, artists, academy professors and critics invited by the municipal culture office of the City of Mönchengladbach and operating in an honorary capacity, will recommend the field of artists who may then apply for a scholarship.
In an honorary capacity, the Director of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Mrs. Katerina Koskina, cordially invite artists to apply for the Mönchengladbach scholarship.
