EMST organizes seminars which address educators of both Primary and Secondary education. The seminars are realized by art historians and include theoretical sessions with audiovisual means as well as exhibition tours and aim at presenting the different tendencies, critical investigations and media of expression of contemporary art offering teachers the opportunity to employ and promote the interpretational approaches of the works during daily school activity and prepare the students visit to the museum. The first seminar for teachers was organized within the context of the exhibition Synopsis 1- Communications under the responsibility of Katerina Zaharopoulou. Teachers experienced the work of the participating artist through a particular creative procedure each time, as well as the use of new technological media of expression. The seminar was repeated on the occasion of the exhibition George Hadjimichalis: Works 1985-2000.
